Hello everyone – I’m popping in to say that I got a chance to chat with Cindy Rollins about Sloyd on the Mason Jar Podcast and the episode is available today! If you haven’t tried Sloyd in your homeschool yet, I hope the interview gives you some inspiration and help.
I just used Edna Rich’s book to begin paper sloyd with our Form 2 class yesterday! Then I saw this posted on fb and knew I had to listen in. Thanks for the information! I’d love to know which of Salomon’s books is the best for learning the wood sloyd.

The Teacher Handbook of Slojd is a good place to start. Read it in its entirety first, if you can, as it is largely philosophy with some practical stuff at the end. Another books for wood Sloyd, Scientific Sloyd by Anna Molander is also really good.
